Obama: No rush to judgment on chemical weapons in Syria

President Obama on Tuesday said he needs more time to decide whether the Syrian government has used chemical weapons in such a way that would violate a "red line' he has set as a trigger for escalating U.S. intervention in the violent conflict in that country.

"We now have evidence that chemical weapons have been used inside of Syria,' he said in a news conference at the White House. "But we don't know when they were used, how they were used, or who used them.'
