Under attack from opposition parties, JPC Chairman P C Chacko today said he will consult Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar before finalising the date of the panel meeting to adopt the controversial report. "I can announce the next date of the meeting today itself. But since reasonable or otherwise, some members have approached the Speaker against it, I thought it would be better that I consult her before deciding on the date," Chacko said outside Parliament House.
