Rediff.com's Vicky Nanjappa reporting from Bangalore says an explosion has occurred outside the BJP office in Mallesaram, Bangalore, sending panic waves across the city. Several cars have been gutted in the blast. Six people have been injured. The police say the explosion is due to a gas cylinder blast. The blast occurred around 10.40 pm.
