Commander says US troops should remain in Afghanistan

The top coalition commander in Afghanistan said U.S. troops should remain in Afghanistan after 2014 when the major combat mission ends, but he said he has not made a recommendation on the size of that force.
Marine Gen. Joseph Dunford said he would take into account a number of variables, including how Afghan forces perform this summer, before making a recommendation on size.
