The bus service between Tripura and Dhaka has been temporarily susepended, reports CNN-IBN.

The suspension comes after a mob burnt down India's 'Maitree' passenger bus at Narsingdi District, 50 km from Dhaka. All 22 passengers escaped unhurt.

The bus was reportedly torched in a case of mistaken identity during a political clash in the area.

India has taken up the issue with Bangladesh.
