Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar faced the ire of the public at a rally in Madhubani, when a group of para teachers (contractual teachers) staged a protest by showing their slippers to hom, according to an NDTV report.

The agitating teachers were demanding parity in salaries and allowances with regular teachers.

The incident happened in Madhubani during the CM's ongoing Adhikar yatra (rights march).
