Laughable that I was called a businessman: Gadkari
October 17, 2012

Rubbishing all allegations of Arvind Kejriwal, BJP president Nitin Gadkari said that it was laughable that he was called a 'businessman.'"I'm a social activist. It's a pity people are trying to malign my image for the petty purpose of publicity for a political party," he added.

He added that all his firms were trying to ensure social upliftment. Countering Kejriwal-led IAC's allegations, Gadkari said that he was protecting the lives and interests of the farmers of the Vidarbha region.

Emphasising that he was ready for any inquiry, he said Kejriwal was trying to malign BJP and help the Congress.
