Malala Yousufzai to be in UK hospital 'for weeks'
October 15, 2012
Malala Yousufzai, the Pakistani schoolgirl activist shot in the head by the Taliban, has arrived in England and could be in the hospital 'for weeks, if not months', according to a report on CNN.

The 14-year-old arrived in UK for treatment today. Malala was flown from Pakistan on board an air ambulance provided by the United Arab Emirates and accompanied by a full medical team.

On arrival at Birmingham Airport, she was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance, travelling at a slow speed because of the nature of her wounds.
