SAD to vote against FDI in Parliament: Badal
November 30, 2012

Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal said today that SAD will vote against the UPA government's decision to introduce FDI in retail as the move is aimed at benefiting the MNCs and ruining the petty traders and distressed farmers in a "clandestine" manner. "The move of opening multi-brand retail for foreign investment is aimed at benefiting the MNCs and ruining the petty traders and distressed farmers in a clandestine manner," Badal said.

There will be debate in Parliament on FDI in retail next week; Lok Sabha on December 4 and 5 and in the Rajya Sabha on December 6 and 7..
