Possible truce? Debate on FDI in voting next week

UPA-Opposition reaches a likely truce after Parliamentary Affairs minister Kamal Nath's meeting with Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj and her Rajya Sabha counterpart Arun Jaitley on the FDI in multi-brand retail. First, there will be a debate over FDI on retail under rules that allow voting next week.

Kamal Nath says all parties want Parliament to function, most parties want a debate and discussion, not voting. Kamal Nath will meet the Speaker again.
There will be a debate over FDI on voting on Tuesday and Wednesday. The UPA says its sure of numbers in case there is voting.
