MNS and RPI's memorial battle

The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, led by Raj Thackeray, has reportedly sought a memorial for Raj's uncle and late Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackarey at Indu Mills in central Mumbai.
The demand by the MNS is unlikely to excite Sena's new-found ally Republican Party of India or its chief Ramdas Athawale, who had sought a memorial for B R Ambedkar at the same venue.
