Drug abuse worst enemy of civilisation: Omar
November 14, 2012

Terming drug-abuse as the "worst enemy of civilisation" and "more dangerous than militancy", Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today appealed all sections of society to work together to save children from illicit use of drugs. "It is being observed that notorious elements induce drug addiction in children and use them for vested interests," Abdullah said at a function organised by National Commission for Protection of Child Rights to observe Children's day at Sumbal, 25 km from here, in Bandipora district of north Kashmir.
