Obama racks up three-point lead over Romney in final poll
November 05, 2012

After finding a dead-even race between the presidential candidates in its previous poll, a new Pew Research Poll found that President Barack Obama has gained a slight edge over Republican rival Mitt Romney nationally. In the Pew Research Center's election weekend survey, Obama was holding a 48 percent to 45 percent lead over Romney among likely voters. In the final survey Obama has ended with a three-point lead over his GOP rival. Nearly 50 percent respondents prefer to vote for Obama as compared to 47 percent who prefer Romney.
