A Chhattisgarh government chopper, which left Raipur for Tarmetla this morning, has reached the Naxal zone. The chopper is carrying mediators G. Hargopal and BD Sharma, who are scheduled to receive Menon in Tarmetla, around 500 km from Raipur. Menon is expected to be released in the afternoon. If the DC is indeed freed, it will be a victory for the Chhattisgarh government since not a single Maoist is being released.
