March 20, 2012

Just in: Journalist Syed Mohd Ahmad Kazmi arrested in the Israeli diplomat's car bombing case, has not been interrogated by Mossad, the Delhi police tells a court. Mossad has not even made a request to interrogate Kazmi, says police.

The Enforcement Directorate has also begun a probe into the source of alleged foreign funds received in the accounts of Kazmi arrested in connection with the bomb attack on an Israeli embassy vehicle.

The agency is probing the case under the provisions of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) after Delhi Police recently wrote to the agency to probe the source and use of the foreign remittances in Kazmi's accounts.
