In the backdrop of Trinamool Congress and SP countering the Congress with three names for the Presidential race, Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office V Narayanaswamy met Pranab Mukherjee late on Wednesday night. 

There was no official word from either Mukherjee or Narayanaswamy on what transpired at the nearly 15-minute meeting held at Mukherjee's Talkatora Road residence. 

Narayanaswamy did not speak to media personnel present outside Mukherjee's house.
