The TMC was absent at the show of strength for Hamid Ansari, but West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee is sending her representative to a lunch being hosted by Congress president Sonia Gandhi for the MPs of UPA and supporting parties today. Mamata appears to be making a point by sending a relatively lightweight party leader KD Singh as her party's representative.
