Indian Army Chief Gen Bikram Singh was today conferred with the Honorary General of the Nepali Army by President Ram Baran Yadav. Singh was also presented with a sword, a certificate and the insignia of the Nepal Army during a function at Rastrapati Bhawan in the capital. Prime Minister Baburam Bhattrai and Chief of Army Staff of Nepal Army Chhatra Man Singh Gurung were present on the occasion.
