Our world has ended with Anuj, say Bidves at crime scene
January 06, 2012

Anuj Bidve murder update.

The parents of the Indian student shot dead at Manchester on December 26, visited the crime scene and spoke to the press.

A composed and brave father, Subhash Bidve said, it was an extremely difficult journey to the place where their son was shot. "Those memories, (of the crime scene) will stay with us forever.".

The Bidves will leave for India tomorrow with Anuj's body.

As Anuj's mother stood beside Subhash Bidve, silently wiping her tears, he said, "It is difficult to explain how we felt when we saw the crime spot. We feel shattered. We will leave for India tomorrow with Anuj, but our world has ended, it has perished for us.

"We don't blame the country, we blame one man. We thought the UK would be the safest place, we thought of the US too, but we choose the UK.

"We have to see how we can face the future in our old age."
