Latest in the Bhanwari Devi murder case.

The murder weapon, a cricket bat, used to smash Bhnawari Devi's skull, thereby killing her has been found. The CBI which is investigating the case took two of the hired hitmen to the canal where the nurse's body was set on fire. They said they had thrown the bat into the canal after smashing her head with it.

Four months after she went missing and with several arrested in the case, the CBI on Wednesday had identified the location where the nurse's body was disposed of after she was kidnapped and burnt on September 1, 2011.

Two politicians including a former minister have been arrested for her murder.
