Raisina Hill, India Gate become virtual fortresses
December 24, 2012
Sheela Bhatt reports from New Delhi: The government seems to the petrified by the protest that rocked New Delhi on the weekend. All roads leading up to Raisina Hill were completely deserted on Monday morning.

All entry and exit points are being manned by the police. Only those with authenticated government passes are allowed to pass. The parking lot is empty and the area resembles a ghost town.

Even India Gate has been turned in to a virtual fortress. The 8-10 entry and exit points to India Gate have been shut and are bristling with security forces. No protesters are allowed anywhere near the India Gate
