Amar Singh backs SP's arch enemy Ms Mayawati

Anand Sharma says 19 chief ministers wrote back to him on FDI. Earlier, Amar Singh, a former Samajwadi Party leader, came out in defence of the SP's arch rival the BSP. Amar Singh latched on to Sushma Swaraj's comment in the Lok Sabha that fear of the CBI had prompted the SP to stage a walkout thereby ensuring the . UPA won the polls. "What kind of hypocrisy is it that when Mayawati supports the BJP it is because she is is a right-thinking person, but when she supports the Congress, it is out  fear of the CBI" he said. The voting is to take place in the afternoon.
