Elaborating on the announcement that he and his followers would march to Parliament today, Ramdev said they were not going to attack Parliament, but they should be allowed to go there. He said the movement is non-violent and would remain so. He said his supporters would not fight with the police.

But there was a veiled threat as well when he said he hoped his supporters would not be forced to take matters into their own hands.
