Don't jail me, I'm traumatised enough: Nupur
April 30, 2012

The CBI court delivering its verdict summarily rejected Nupur Talwar's bail plea. Her plea that she be given bail because she is a woman whose daughter has been murdered, did not hold water. Nupur said she was traumatised enough after the murder of her daughter and sending her to jail would serve no purpose.

This, apparently, had the opposite effect on the court, which rebuked her for trying to "emotionally blackmail" it.

Even as her lawyers move the sessions court, Nupur will spend at least two days in prison before the court can take up her plea.
