Just in: CBI detains senior Maharashtra bureaucrats Ramanand Tiwari and Jairaj Pathak for questioning in the Adarsh scam.  Phatak, who was the Mumbai Municipal Commissioner when the scam took place has been placed under suspension pending investigation, last month. The action follows criticism from the High Court which asked why action was not being taken against influential persons involved in the scam.
