The BJP says it's a sad day for democracy that all those who exposed the cash-for-votes scam are in jail, while those who benefitted are free. This comes in the wake of Sudheendra Kulkarni's judicial custody today. Kulkarni, a former aide of LK Advani will remain in jail till October 1 after the court turned down his bail plea.
