NYC braces for Hurricane Irene

While on the US, news of Hurricane Irene.

After slamming into North Carolina and knocking out power to more than a million people along the East Coast, Irene now has its eye set on the biggest cities in the Northeast. Irene is expected to pound Ocean City, Maryland, early this morning before heading toward New York City, threatening to flood parts of Manhattan and bring the city to a virtual standstill, reports cnn.com.
